Community Event: Wangan Wednesdays

This Wednesday we’re kicking off the first official Horizon Club Scene cruise event:
Wangan Wednesday
A Wangan run refers to a high-speed, late-night drive or illegal street race along the Bayshore Route (Wangan-sen) of Tokyo’s Shuto Expressway.
This should have organized street scene energy. The goal is simple: good cars, good people, good roads, and a proper late-night Horizon atmosphere.
📍 Event Schedule
9:00 PM - Meet Spot
We’ll start at the Southern Stadium 365 (Gas Station). With Mt. Fuji in the background, and lots of open space… there will be opportunity to show off.
9:15 PM - Mountain Cruise
From there we’ll head up the highway and back down through the western mountain roads with a slower scenic convoy pace, stopping briefly at a few pull-off locations for photos and regrouping.
9:45 PM - Daikoku PA
Main parking area meetup. This is the centerpiece stop of the night: lineup shots, club photos, cinematics, and hanging out before the highway run begins.
10:00 PM - Wangan Run
Once everybody’s ready, we head onto the expressway loop for rolling runs, tunnel pulls, and late-night highway cruising.
Suggested Cars
These are just suggestions, but we’ll aim to keep cars around class A for cruising synergy.

- JDM street builds
- Highway cars
- Tuners
- Modern imports
- 90s legends
- Anything that feels at home under neon lights at 2 AM
Photographers & Creators
If you’re into screenshots, cinematics, drone shots, edits, or clips, this event is basically built for you.
We’ll have multiple stops specifically for photos and rolling shots throughout the cruise. Drone pilots are welcome!
A Few Simple Rules
- Keep the convoy clean
- Don’t intentionally ram people
- Respect the pace during cruise sections
- Save the heavy pulls for the expressway portions
- Most importantly: don’t kill the vibe
This is the first of what’ll hopefully become a regular Horizon Club Scene tradition.
